SERIES HISTORY
Slippery Rock and Roberts Wesleyan will be facing off for the fifth time in the series history, with The Rock holding a 0-2-2 record all time against the Redhawks. The two squads have played in each season since 2022.

Last season, SRU and RWU played to a 1-1 draw at Roberts Stadium. Patrick Tierney tied the game for Slippery Rock in the 58th minute, while Alvey Kaufman stopped three shots, including a penalty kick, in goal for The Rock.

LAST TIME OUT
Slippery grabbed its first win of the season behind four second-half goals in a 4-1 victory over the University of the District of Columbia in non-conference action Sept. 5 at James Egli Field.

Slippery Rock saw goals from Kaden Reynolds, Boele Zwartele, Dylan Greggs and Caleb Alldredge against the Firebirds.

Reynolds and Aashi Pandher each collected one assist on the day.

Troy Nine started in goal for The Rock and made two saves in the win. Nine picked up his third career victory, after finishing 2025 with a 2-1-1 record.

Slippery Rock outshot the District of Columbia, 20-14, as well as 12-3 in shots on goal. The matchup ended with nine combined cards with six going against SRU and three to UDC.

HIGH SCORING HALF
Slippery Rock's offense exploded in the second half against UDC with four goals, the most in a single half for SRU since Sept. 20, 2023, when Slippery Rock scored four goals in the second half of a 5-2 win versus Daemen University.

NON-CONFERENCE PLAY
Following the win versus UDC, Slippery Rock is now 18-23-14 in non-conference matchups over the last eight years. With the win, SRU has earn a non-conference victory for the 19th consecutive season.

NINE GRABS PSAC WEST DEFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK NOD
Slippery Rock goalkeeper, Nine, was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Defensive Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Nine, a junior from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, earns Slippery Rock its first PSAC weekly award this year. Nine is the 23rd different men's soccer player to win a PSAC weekly award since 2004, accounting for 35 total PSAC weekly awards.

Nine led Slippery Rock to a 1-1 record this week, totaling six saves with a .750 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average.

LEADING THE ROCK
After three games, Reynolds paces The Rock with three points on one goal and one assist. Alldredge, Zwartele and Greggs each have one goal on the season as well, while Pandher joins Reynolds with one assist.

Reynolds also leads SRU in shots with 12 and shots on goal with five. Pandher follows Reynolds with nine shots and three on goal, while Tierney rounds out Slippery Rock's top three shot takers with five.

Slippery Rock's minutes leader in the field are Tierney and Fynn Uebele, who have both played all 270 minutes.

IN GOAL FOR THE ROCK
Nine has played every minute in goal so far in 2026 for The Rock. Nine has a 0.67 goals against average along with a .818 save percentage with nine saves and one clean sheet. Nine has only surrendered two goals this season.

REYNOLDS OPENS THE SCORING
Reynolds picked up where he left off in 2025, as the junior scored SRU's first goal of 2026 in the 48th minute against UDC. Reynolds was Slippery Rock leading goal scorer a season ago with eight goals, including five straight goals for the team in a three-game stretch.

FIRST GOALS FOR THE ROCK
Slippery Rock saw three players score their first goals for SRU in the victory over UDC as Zwartele, Greggs and Alldredge all found the back of the net. The goals for Zwartele and Greggs also marked their first career goals.

ON THE BOARD QUICKLY
Zwartele's goal in the win against UDC marks the third-fastest goal scored by a freshman into their career at SRU since the 2019 season, when Alejandro Fernandez and Ramses Minaya also scored the third game into the season.

Last year, Retfalvi and Cornelis Dedecker scored in the second game of their freshmen campaigns in a 4-1 win versus Walsh University.

ROBERTS WESLEYAN SCOUTING REPORT
The Redhawks enter the matchup with a 1-2-0 record overall after three non-conference games. Roberts Wesleyan started its season off with a 2-1 win over Assumption University, before suffering back-to-back losses against Saint Anslem College and Saint Michael's College.

Four players lead Roberts Wesleyan in goals and points as Mustafa Alshadeedi, Sebastian Guerrero, Taumi Horan and Archie Murphy all have two points on one goal. Louis Ferrrari and Pablo Garcia Alemany pace the Redhawks with one assist each.

Juan Daniel Espinosa Rubio has started all three games and played every minute as goalkeeper for Roberts Wesleyan, totaling a 1.67 GAA and a 773 save percentage with 17 saves.
