NATIONAL RANKINGS  |  IWLCA Poll  |  USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll
Slippery Rock held steady at No. 7 in the IWLCA rankings and No. 3 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine rankings this week. Seton Hill held its place at No. 22 in the IWLCA poll.

PLAYOFF HOME GAME ALREADY LOCKED UP
With two games left in the regular season, Slippery Rock has already clinched a home playoff game in the quarterfinal round of the PSAC Playoffs. SRU will host either the No. 3 or No. 4 seed from the Eastern Division in the quarterfinals next Tuesday, April 28 at 4 p.m. The Rock currently sit in first place in the Division with an 8-0 conference record and are trying to win their second straight division title. The No. 1 seed in the West is an important spot this year, as the highest remaining West seed after the quarterfinals will host the PSAC semifinals and title game.

PSAC WEST TITLE SCENARIOS
Slippery Rock owns a two-game cushion in the division standings with two games to play, meaning The Rock can do no worse than a tie for the division title. A win in either game this week would guarantee an outright title and the No. 1 seed in the division for the second year in a row. If SRU loses to Seton Hill by four goals or fewer, The Rock will be the No. 1 seed regardless of Saturday's outcomes because they would own any head-to-head tiebreaker based on goal differential. Seton Hill has to win by at least five goals, then defeat Gannon Saturday AND have SRU lose at Lock Haven Saturday to bring in any other possible tiebreakers.

RECORDS
Slippery Rock improved to 15-0 overall and 8-0 in the PSAC West with a 17-7 win at home over Indiana (Pa.) Saturday. Seton Hill is second in the division standings with a 9-5 overall record and a 6-2 mark in the PSAC West. The Griffins are coming off a 24-3 win over Edinboro Saturday after falling 13-6 at Lock Haven last Wednesday. Lock Haven is third in the PSAC West standings with a 9-5 overall record and a 5-3 mark in the division. The Bald Eagles will travel to Indiana (Pa.) Wednesday before meeting SRU Saturday.

ALL-TIME SERIES WITH SETON HILL  |  Game-by-Game Scores
Seton Hill owns a 12-10 advantage in the all-time series that dates back to 2008. The Griffins won eight of nine meetings between 2019 and 2024 before SRU turned the tide last year with a season sweep in 2025. With the 10-5 win earlier this year, SRU has now won three straight in the series. Each of the last four games and seven of the last nine meetings have been decided by five goals or fewer.

LAST MEETING WITH SETON HILL  |  Box Score
Slippery Rock and Seton Hill played through torrential downpours and a lightning delay in the first meeting earlier this spring with The Rock coming away with a 10-5 win on a day where conditions made the game anything but easy. SRU led 9-1 early in the third quarter before Seton Hill outscored The Rock 4-1 over the final 19 minutes to claw it back to a 10-5 final. Slippery Rock posted advantages of 36-17 in shots, 25-13 in shots on goal, 9-8 in draw controls and 24-21 in ground balls. Grace Rotter scored six goals and handed out one assist for seven points to lead SRU. Lily Ventresca made eight saves and allowed five goals. Seton Hill got two goals from Sydney Marusko and 15 saves from Katelyn Patts.

ALL-TIME SERIES WITH LOCK HAVEN  |  Game-by-Game Scores
Lock Haven owns a 36-13-1 advantage in the all-time series that dates all the way back to 1976, but the majority of that damage was done between 1976 and 2016. Slippery Rock has won the last nine games in the series with the last win for Lock Haven coming in the playoffs in 2018. SRU is 10-3 in the series since 2019.

LAST MEETING WITH LOCK HAVEN  |  Box Score
Lock Haven led 2-1 midway through the first period before SRU went on an 8-0 run to take control of the game and raced away with 20-5 win at home back in early April. The Rock dominated possession to the tune of a 22-5 advantage in draw controls, which led to a 50-11 advantage in total shots. Isabella Buono netted five goals and handed out two assists, Abby Fink scored four goals and handed out one assist and Reagan Richeson netted four goals to lead SRU. Paige Jenkins caused five turnovers and picked up nine ground balls on defense and Lily Ventresca made two saves in goal. Lock Haven got 12 saves from Gretchen King and two goals from Makayla Kelly.

REGULAR SEASON WINNING STREAK
Slippery Rock has won 25 straight regular season games and is 30-1 in the regular season since the beginning of the 2025 season. The lone loss in that stretch is a 10-9 overtime loss at Lander on March 15, 2025. The only other two losses SRU has suffered since the opening of last season were in the PSAC title game last spring to No. 2 West Chester, which SRU avenged in the regional title game two weeks later, and in the national semifinals to No. 7 Adelphi. The Rock are 33-3 overall since the start of 2025.

PSAC WEST STREAK AT 22
Slippery Rock has won 22 straight PSAC West games dating back to the 2024 season. The Rock won their final four division games in 2024, went 10-0 in the division in 2025 and are 8-0 this year for a total of 22 straight PSAC West wins. That is the third longest active conference winning streak in the country, trailing Grand Valley State (61) and Dominican (N.Y.) (32).

AWAY WINNING STREAK
Slippery Rock has won its last nine straight road games and has the third longest active road winning streak in the country, trailing only the 14 straight road wins by Wingate and the 10 straight by Young Harris. The current streak of nine straight road games includes an NCAA second round win at East Stroudsburg last spring and an Atlantic Region title game win at West Chester last spring.

THREE UNBEATENS LEFT
Slippery Rock enters the week as one of just three Division II teams that are still undefeated on the year. The Rock and East Stroudsburg (16-0) are the only two teams in the Atlantic Region that have yet to lose a game. The only other undefeated team across the nation is No. 1 Flagler (Fla.) (17-0).

THE ROCK AGAINST THE PSAC WEST
Slippery Rock has been dominant in its eight games against the PSAC West so far this season, putting up an 8-0 record and outscoring the division 155-30 in those eight games. The average margin of victory for SRU in the PSAC West this spring is +15.6 goals per game.

LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock scored 12 straight goals and went on a 15-1 run in the middle periods to pull away for a 17-7 win over IUP Saturday at home. The Rock outshot the Hawks 32-19. Isabella Buono scored five goals to pace the attack, while Reagan Richeson added four goals and Maddie Blazey scored one goal and handed out four assists. Paige Jenkins caused six turnovers and grabbed eight ground balls to lead the defense. Lily Ventresca made five saves and allowed three goals through three periods and Ava Drath made three saves and allowed four goals.

JENKINS EARNS ANOTHER WEEKLY AWARD
Defender Paige Jenkins was named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week this week after tallying nine caused turnovers and 11 ground balls in a pair of wins last week. Jenkins has earned the division's weekly defensive award five times this spring.

JENKINS SETS SRU SINGLE-SEASON AND CAREER RECORDS
Defender Paige Jenkins took over sole possession of first place in the SRU career record book for caused turnovers earlier this spring and is now up to 112, surpassing Tia Torchia's previous program record of 101. With her performance last week, Jenkins also established a new single-season record for caused turnovers at SRU. She enters this week with 48 caused turnovers, topping the former record of 46 that was set by Torchia in 2018. Jenkins currently leads all field players in the PSAC in both caused turnovers (48) and ground balls (53).

TOUGH TO SCORE ON
Slippery Rock has limited its last 13 opponents to seven goals or fewer and has held opponents to single-digit scoring in 14 of 15 games this year. The Rock are outscoring their opponents 257-74 through 15 games, including 224-53 over the last 13 games, and outshooting opponents 560-217. The only opponent to reach 10 goals this year was No. 5 West Chester back on Feb. 21.

NATIONAL OFFENSIVE RANKS
Slippery Rock ranks second among all programs in Division II in shots per game at 37.33 and shots on goal per game at 28.07. The Rock own the No. 7 scoring offense in the country at 17.13 goals per game and rank third in the nation in scoring margin at +12.20 goals per game. TOP 10 IN THE DRAW CIRCLE
Slippery Rock enters this game ranked eighth in the nation in draw control percentage (64.0%) and 15th in the nation in draw controls per game (15.53). Shannon Von Kaenel and her 132 draw controls are the primary reason for that as she currently ranks fourth in the nation in draw controls per game at 8.80. She takes nearly all the draws and has helped The Rock to post an 233-131 advantage over opponents through 15 games. Paige Jenkins has 42 draw controls and Grace Rotter has 38 draw controls as that trio has 212 of the team's 233 draw wins.

Attacker Reagan Richeson has a team-high 53 goals this year to mark a new career-high and her second straight season with at least 50 goals. She is currently just eight goals shy of the SRU single-season record of 61, set by Amy Halls in 2011. Grace Rotter (41) and Isabella Buono (39) are both closing in on the 50-goal milestone as well.

FIVE PLAYERS WITH 40+ POINTS
Slippery Rock's enters this week with five players that have 42 or more points on the year, including three players with at least 50 points.
