The Rock currently sit in first place in the Division with a 7-0 conference record and are trying to win their second straight division title. REGULAR SEASON WINNING STREAK
Slippery Rock has won 24Â straight regular season games and is 29-1 in the regular season since the beginning of the 2025 season. The lone loss in that stretch is a 10-9 overtime loss at Lander on March 15, 2025. The only other two losses SRU has suffered since the opening of last season were in the PSAC title game last spring to No. 2 West Chester, which SRU avenged in the regional title game two weeks later, and in the national semifinals to No. 7 Adelphi. The Rock are 32-3 overall since the start of 2025.
Â
PSAC WEST STREAK AT 21
Slippery Rock has won 21Â straight PSAC West games dating back to the 2024 season. The Rock won their final four division games in 2024, went 10-0 in the division in 2025 and are 7-0 this year for a total of 21Â straight PSAC West wins. That is the fourth longest active conference winning streak in the country, trailing Grand Valley State (60), Dominican (30) and Flagler (21).
Â
HOME WINNING STREAK
Slippery Rock has won its last 19 straight home games and has the second longest active home winning streak in the nation, trailing only the 21 straight home wins by Florida Southern. The Rock are 21-1 at home over the last three seasons with the only loss during that stretch coming against Seton Hill March 23, 2024.
Â
THREE UNBEATENS LEFT
Slippery Rock enters the weekend as one of just three Division II teams that are still undefeated on the year. The Rock and East Stroudsburg (15-0) are the only two teams in the Atlantic Region that have yet to lose a game. The only other undefeated team across the nation is No. 1 Flagler (Fla.) (16-0).
Â
THE ROCK AGAINST THE PSAC WEST
Slippery Rock has been dominant in its seven games against the PSAC West so far this season, putting up a 7-0 record and outscoring the division 138-23 in those seven games. No team in the division has scored more than five goals against SRU this spring and the average margin of victory in divisional games sits at +16.4 points per game.
Â
LAST TIME OUT
Slippery Rock jumped out to an 11-0 lead in the first quarter and pulled its starters midway through the second quarter on the way to a 24-2 win over Edinboro Wednesday. The Rock outshot the Fighting Scots 51-5 and got points from 14 different players in the game.
Â
JENKINS SETS SRU CAREER RECORD
Defender
Paige Jenkins took over sole possession of first place in the SRU career record book for caused turnovers and is now up to 106, surpassing Tia Torchia's previous program record of 101. Jenkins, who is just a junior, is already over 100 caused turnovers, ground balls and draw controls in her career.
Â
TOUGH TO SCORE ON
Slippery Rock has limited its last 12 opponents to six goals or fewer and has held opponents to single-digit scoring in 13 of 14 games this year. The Rock are outscoring their opponents 238-67 through 14 games, including 207-46 over the last 12 games, and outshooting opponents 528-198. The only opponent to reach 10 goals this year was No. 5 West Chester back on Feb. 21.
