Slippery Rock is 8-0 overall and 1-0 in the PSAC West. The Rock enter this week coming off a 24-2 win over Gannon last Saturday to open PSAC West action. Edinboro is 1-5 overall and 0-1 in PSAC West action. The Fighting Scots are riding a four-game losing skid and are coming off a 19-7 loss at Lock Haven Saturday. IUP enters the week with a 3-5 overall record and an 0-1 mark in the PSAC. The Crimson Hawks lost 15-11 at Seton Hill last Saturday. IUP will host Gannon Wednesday before playing SRU Saturday.

Slippery Rock is 22-0 all-time against Edinboro in a series that began in 2009. The Rock swept last year's meetings by scores of 19-3 at home and 19-6 on the road. Indiana owns a 19-9 advantage in the all-time series that began in 2007 during The Rock's first year with a new program. The Crimson Hawks won the first nine meetings in the series and 15 of the first 16 meetings. Since then, SRU is 8-4 in the series dating back to 2018 and has swept both meetings in each of the last two years for a four-game win streak. REGULAR SEASON WINNING STREAK
Slippery Rock has won 18 straight regular season games and is 23-1 in the regular season since the beginning of the 2025 season. The lone loss in that stretch is a 10-9 overtime loss at Lander on March 15, 2025. The only other two losses SRU has suffered since the opening of last season were in the PSAC title game last spring to No. 2 West Chester, which SRU avenged in the regional title game two weeks later, and in the national semifinals to No. 7 Adelphi. The Rock are 26-3 overall since the start of 2025.

WINS OVER THREE TOURNEY TEAMS
Slippery Rock opened the year with three straight games against defending conference champions and NCAA Tournament qualifiers from 2025. The Rock opened the year with an 18-9 win over GMAC champion Ashland, upset PSAC champion and No. 5 West Chester 13-12 on the road to snap the Golden Rams' 60-game regular season win streak and took down GLIAC champion Grand Valley State 10-6 in their first three games of the year.

Slippery Rock enters the week as one of just four Division II teams that are still undefeated on the year. The Rock and East Stroudsburg (9-0) are the only two teams in the Atlantic Region that have yet to lose a game. The other undefeated teams across the nation include Flagler (Fla.) Slippery Rock scored the first 21 goals and was never challenged in a 24-2 win over Gannon Saturday. The Rock raced out to a 9-0 lead after the first quarter and led 17-0 at halftime before pulling the starters for the second half.
