RACE TO THE PSAC TOURNAMENT
The top six teams in the PSAC East and PSAC West standings at the end of the regular season qualify for the PSAC Tournament. The first and second seeds in the standings earn first-round byes and a home game in the quarterfinal round while the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds are guaranteed home games in the first round.

• Seven of the 12 spots in the PSAC Tournament have already been clinched. In the Western Division, IUP, Gannon, Seton Hill University and Edinboro have already clinched spots, while Lock Haven University, Kutztown University and East Stroudsburg University have clinched a spot from the Eastern Division.

• The top four teams in the PSAC West standings have separated themselves as Indiana and Gannon enter the week atop the division. IUP leads the PSAC West with a 15-1 league record and Gannon sits in second with a 14-2 PSAC mark. Seton Hill (12-4) and Edinboro (11-5) sit comfortably in third and fourth place, respectively.

• The remaining four teams are separated by just two games as Clarion (7-9) and California (Pa.) (7-9) head into their respective weekday contests occupying the fifth and sixth spots in the PSAC West.

• If the season ended today, Slippery Rock and Pitt-Johnstown would each sit outside of the PSAC Tournament by one spot in seventh. However, the two teams are just two games behind the Vulcans and the Golden Eagles for the final two spots with four games to go in the regular season.

• Slippery Rock will play California one more time this season, Feb. 28, at the Convocation Center. Earlier this season, SRU took down Cal, 76-72, at Morrow Field House.

• If Slippery Rock were to lose its two contests this week and both Clarion and California each win both their games, The Rock would be eliminated from PSAC Tournament contention.

ROCK AGAINST RANKED GANNON TEAMS
Slippery Rock is in search of its first win in program history over a ranked Gannon team. SRU is 0-15 all-time when the Golden Knights are nationally ranked. The last time The Rock beat a nationally ranked opponent on the road was in the 1999-00 season when SRU took down No. 10 IUP, 89-78.

WADE AGAINST THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS
Wade dropped a career-high 23 points against the Golden Knights. The last time a Rock freshman scored 23 or more points was Regan Atkins in the 2023-24 season against Seton Hill. The last SRU freshman to score more than 23 points was when Ciara Patterson went for 26 points at IUP in the 2015-16 season.

FRESHMAN PHENOM
Wade is currently averaging 14.3 points per game and 4.5 assists per game this season. The guard sits 35th in the country in assists per game and is the third highest in the freshmen ranks in Division II. The rookie also leads all freshmen in the conference in scoring and assists.

1. Samarian Franklin (Miles – 5.1)
2. Kori Sanders (Harding – 4.6)

Not only has she blocked 1.8 shots per game, she's also converted 42 of her 125 3-point attempts on the way to averaging 12.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game while shooting 41.4 percent from the field overall to go with her impressive shot blocking.

Gillin is the only athlete in all of Division II to have recorded at least 40 made 3-pointers and 35 blocks this year.

Alyssa Gillin (SRU): 3's: 42 – Blocks: 39

ROOKIE LEADERS
With four games left in the regular season, Wade is currently The Rock's leading scorer with 14.3 points per game. If the freshman stays as Slippery Rock's top point-getter, she will be the third rookie to lead The Rock in scoring since the 1999-00 season. Atkins (2023-24) and Becky Siembak (1999-00) are the only SRU rookies to lead the team in points in the last 27 seasons. Atkins led SRU with 15.2 ppg. while Siembak averaged 15.5 ppg in her rookie campaign.

PICKING UP STEALS
Woods has been a core player for SRU on the defensive end this season. The senior transfer from Bethune-Cookman sits with 36 steals on the season, the seventh most steals by a transfer in their first year at SRU. Woods has at least one steal in all but three games so far this season.

On the offensive end, Woods has reach double-digits in points in eight of her last 13 games, averaging 8.6 ppg over that span.

MOVING UP THE FRESHMAN RANKS
Wade is inside the top 10 in SRU history for points, assists, minutes and 3-pointers made by a freshman. The rookie currently sits in third place in assists (98), third in minutes (805), sixth in made 3-pointers (22) and sixth in points (315).

Against IUP, Wade scored eight points in 21 minutes of action. This performance resulted in Wade moving up one spot in the minutes list. The freshman has scored in double- figures in 18 of her 22 appearances this season.

SHARPSHOOTING DUO
Gillin and Hook have been among the PSAC's top sharpshooters in the 2025-26 season. Gillin (1.9) and Hook (1.7) rank sixth and 10th in the conference in 3-pointers made per game.

MOST 3-POINTERS PER GAME (5-10)
5. Teresa Maggio (IUP) – 2.0
6. Alyssa Gillin (Slippery Rock) – 1.9
t7. Avery White (East Stroudsburg) – 1.8
t7. Daniella Ranielli (Millersville) – 1.8
t7. Bri Claxton (Gannon – 1.8)
10. Sophia Hook (Slippery Rock) – 1.7

FINDING ANOTHER GEAR
Haggerty has continued the most productive stretch as a scorer of her career. The junior has scored 101 points total in her last nine appearances, averaging 11.2 ppg in that span, including a career- high 17 points against California (Pa.). The junior also earned her fifth consecutive start against IUP.

LEADER FROM LONG RANGE
Along with Gillin, Hook has been the driving force behind The Rock's success from 3-point range. The junior guard has connected on 34.2 percent (38-of-111) of her 3-point attempts this season. She enters Wednesday ranked 10th in 3-pointers made per game (1.7) in the PSAC.

In 22 starts this season, the PSAC's sixth ranked player in minutes played has averaged 11.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.1 assists per game. The junior is shooting 39.1 percent from the field overall along with her .342 mark from 3-point range.

ONE OF A KIND
While typically not the highest scoring player on the court, Joseph-Bernard always finds multiple ways to impact the game. The senior is averaging 8.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.6 blocks and 2.0 steals per game.

Joseph-Bernard is the only Division II athlete to average at least 8.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 2.0 steals per game. The senior forward also sits seventh on Division II's in single-game blocks list with her seven-block game against Glenville State University.

SETTING RECORDS
Joseph-Bernard and Gillin have combined for 63 blocks this season to help The Rock up to sixth on the PSAC's block rankings with 4.0 per game.

The duo has also been prolific shot blockers over their careers as Gillin is sixth in program history in career blocks with 64, while Joseph-Bernard ranks sixth with 62 rejections. Joseph-Bernard and Gillin are just the third pair of Rock teammates with each holding at least 60 career blocks to be active at the same time. If Gillin and Joseph-Bernard were to reach the 70 career block mark by the end of the season, they would be the first pair of Rock teammates to be active with 70 career blocks.

HITTING THE GLASS
Joseph-Bernard is one of the premier rebounders in the conference as the senior grabs the third most defensive rebounds per game (7.6), the fifth most rebounds per contest (9.0) and the sixth most total rebounds (189) in the PSAC.

Most recently, the senior forward grabbed four rebounds against IUP. Joseph-Bernard's 7.6 defensive rpg puts the senior as the eighth best defensive rebounder in Division II.

NO FLY ZONE
Joseph-Bernard and Gillin have been the backbone Slippery Rock's defense this season. The two forwards rank inside the top 10 for blocks as a senior at The Rock as Gillin sits in second place with 39 blocks, while Joseph-Bernard occupies fourth place with 34 blocks.

IRON WOMEN
Slippery Rock has utilized the same starting lineup of Wade, Hook, Gillin and Joseph-Bernard in 20 of 22 games this season. The Rock's core four rarely leave the court as each player averages at least 33 minutes per game.

Led by Wade's 36.6 minutes per game, the third-highest rank in the PSAC, four of The Rock's five starters are ranked in the top 10 in the conference in terms of minutes played per game.
