LAST TIME OUT

Roz Mikulak, Slippery Rock earned a 2-1 overtime victory Sept. 14 at Converse University.
THE ROCK ATTACK
• The early stages of the 2025 season have seen Slippery Rock's offensive efforts being led by Hutchinson's four goals.
Â
• Supplementing Hutchinson's surge with one goal apiece have been
Hilary Hoffman,
Coral Piramo and
Madison Shomo.
Â
• SRU has recorded assists on five of its seven goals. Hoffman and Mikulak have both accounted for two assists with Williams also tallying one.
Â
PEPPERING THE CAGE
• After getting off just three shots in its season-opening win over Adelphi, Slippery Rock has posted at least 10 shots in each of its previous three encounters.
Â
• SRU's shot production has been relatively evenly distributed. Hoffman (8) and Hutchinson (7) have combined for 15 of The Rock's 39 total shots this year followed by Mikulak (6), Piramo (5), Shomo (4) and
Riley Cloude (4).
Â
• Williams (2),
Christina Clymer (2) and
Maddie Orrson (1) round out SRU's shot takers heading into the Shippensburg game.
Â
• As far as pressuring the opposing goalkeeper is concerned, 22 of The Rock's 39 shots have been on goal with Hutchinson (5), Hoffman (4) leading the S.O.G. category as well.
Â
THE ROCK'S LAST LINE OF DEFENSE
• Slippery Rock's goalkeeping responsibilities have been split between
Leah Riegling and
Emily Newton.
Â
• Riegling started the opening three games of the season, going 2-0 with eight saves, a .833 save percentage and 0.80 Goals Against Average over 150 minutes of playing time.
Â
• Newton took over for Riegling in the second half of The Rock's overtime loss at Lander before playing the entirety of SRU's victory over Converse. All told, Newton has been on the field for 102:02 while compiling 15 saves, a .833 save percentage and 1.76 GAA.
Â
• The Lander game, which saw Newton make eight saves, served as the Great Meadows, New Jersey native's first collegiate appearance.
HUTCHINSON ON A HOT STREAK
• Hutchinson enters the Shippensburg game having scored goals in all four Rock games this year. She is the first Rock athlete since 2003 (22 years) to have scored a goal in four consecutive games.
Â
• Three of Hutchinson's four goals this season have been game-winning strikes. The last time SRU had an athlete score three game-winning goals in a season was Jessie Trube in 2019. Hutchinson, Trube, Kailee Krupski (2017) and Megan McKay (4 / 2015) are the only Rock athletes to have produced at least three game-winning goals in a single-year over the last 12 seasons.
Â
• Nationally, Hutchinson ranks ninth in Division II in goals per game (1.00), 11th in points per game (2.00) and 15th in shots on goal percentage (.571).

Slippery Rock's starting lineup has remained predominantly unchanged over the first two weeks of the season with nine athletes - Hoffman, Piramo, Shomo, Mikulak, Cloude, Clymer,
