While we have a break without competition over the holidays, our Athletic Communication team will be taking some time off and not posting much content to the web or our social channels between Dec. 24 and Jan 1. We'll return with basketball previews Jan. 1 before our hoops teams get back to action with home doubleheaders Jan. 2 and Jan. 3.
 
We wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of our student-athletes, alumni, fans and other supporters a happy and healthy holiday season.
 
The 2025 calendar year was another great one for us here at SRU. We saw multiple teams celebrate milestone moments and we celebrated hundreds of individual accolades for our student-athletes and coaches related to their athletic and academic excellence. Our student-athletes continued to thrive in the classroom and stand out as leaders in our region and across Division II for their academic performance.
 
Your support of Slippery Rock University and our Athletics programs was incredible this year. Content related to SRU Athletics was viewed more than 20 million times across our numerous platforms, including the website, our social channels, our digital network and our YouTube channel. You watched more than 50,000 hours of live video broadcasts on the Rock Athletics Digital Network alone.
