LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Slippery Rock University pole vaulter
Dan Hyatt was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Male Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the SRU Last Chance Meet.

Hyatt, a senior from Hershey, Pennsylvania, won the competition hosted by SRU with a clearance of 4.80 meters, which marked the second-best effort off his career.

His winning jump was just shy of his season and career-best leap of 4.82 meters, which currently sits atop the PSAC rankings. His jump of 4.80 meters was also the second best jump in the conference this year, giving him each of the top two performances in the league.

Slippery Rock will host the PSAC Championships this week from Thursday through Saturday at the William Lennox Track at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Meet information is available HERE.
