Slippery Rock is off to a 3-0 start after close wins against Shepherd (13-10) and D'Youville (15-12) and a dominant victory Wednesday against Ursuline (24-2). Limestone enters this weekend ranked No. 20 in the latest Division II national rankings and carries a 3-3 overall record. The Saints won their first three games of the season, but have dropped three straight since then.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
Slippery Rock is coming off its highest-scoring game in nearly eight years with a 24-2 victory over a severely outmatched Ursuline squad Wednesday. That inflated margin of victory gives SRU a 52-24 advantage in total goals over its opponents on the season. The Rock are averaging 17.3 goals per game while allowing 8.0 goals per game. SRU also owns advantages of 58-30 in draw controls, 63-57 in ground balls and 37-26 in caused turnovers over its opponents.

The Rock have three players with at least 10 points through three games with
Jamie DiCarlo leading the way with seven goals and five assists for 12 points.
Emily Benham has a team-high eight goals to go along with two assists and
Katie Dlugosz has five goals and five assists.

Charleigh Rondeau has four goals and five assists and leads the team with 33 draw controls, an average of 11.0 per game.
Camryn Whipple (4g, 3a),
Brooke Kelly (5g, 1a) and
Molly Buettner (2g, 3a) round out the SRU players with at least five points.

Taylor Baiers paces the defense with eight caused turnovers and five ground balls.

Gillian O'Rourke is 3-0 with a 9.10 goals against average and a .450 save percentage. She has played all but 35 minutes in goal this season.

MILESTONE AND RECORD BOOK WATCH
Emily Benham currently ranks 16th in career scoring at SRU with 88 points. She is 12 points shy of becoming the 15th player in SRU history to top the 100-point milestone. Benham's 28 career assists rank tied for 11th at SRU. She can climb into the top 10 with two more assists.
Charleigh Rondeau ranks eighth all-time at SRU in draw controls with 114, which included 80 in 2021. She broke the SRU single-game record Wednesday with 17 against Ursuline. If she matches her numbers from last spring, she should climb into the top five this season. Fifth on the career list currently is Amy Halls at 146.

SCOUTING THE SAINTS
Limestone enters this game riding a three-game losing skid, but all three of those losses came against stiff competition in No. 8 Rollins (12-7), along with one-goal losses to Lander (16-15) and Wingate (12-11), which were both receiving votes in the national pol this week.

The Saints are outscoring opponents 80-61 through six games for an average of 13.33 goals per game to opponents' 10/17 goals per game. Limestone has also posted advantages of 88-73 in draw controls, 109-101 in ground balls and 59-37 in caused turnovers.

Sarah Dudick and Elizabeth Muscella each have 26 points already on the season with Dudick netting 23 goals and handing out three assists and Muscella scoring 20 goals and dishing out six assists. Gracie DePaul (9g, 3a) and Kayla Christensen (3g, 6a) round out the top scorers. Muscella also leads the team with 41 draw controls, while defender Bailey Stumpf leads the team with 22 caused turnovers and 22 ground balls.

Six different players are credited with playing minutes in goal this year, with Madelyn DeSoto playing 160 minutes and Teja Gallop playing 155 minutes as the top two keepers. Gallop is 3-1 with an 8.13 goals against average and a .222 save percentage. DeSoto is 0-2 with a 12.00 goals against average and a .304 save percentage. As a team, Limestone owns a .291 save percentage.
