• LAST TIME OUT: Behind a goal from senior defender Liz Wolfe with no time remaining in regulation, the Slippery Rock field hockey team defeated Mercyhurst 3-2 at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

• Thoughts of a Slippery Rock upset over Bloomsburg on Saturday are not unfounded as The Rock has knocked off teams ranked in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association three times over the last four years. A season ago, SRU defeated both No. 3 West Chester (4-3) and No. 5 Kutztown (3-2). In 2014 The Rock downed No. 5 East Stroudsburg, 2-1.
 
• Sophomore forward Kayla Urlich has five Goals and one assist in eight career games against ranked teams.
 
• One of the most balanced offenses in the PSAC, 10 of The Rock's 23 position players have already scored goals this season. Only West Chester has more goal scorers on the year with 12.

• Ulrich leads The Rock with 10 points on four goals and two assists while sophomore Abby McKay and freshman Jessie Trube have scored three goals apiece. The trio of freshman Lauren Marks, sophomore Courtney Page and Downing have two goals each.
 
• Ulrich, Marks, Page, junior Brenna-McGovern Lind and junior Kalie Reed have all passed out two assists.
 
• Wolfe enters the game with 15 career defensive saves, the fourth most by a Rock player in program history.

• McKay has scored two goals in the last three games.
 
• Ulrich enters the game ranked ninth in program history in career goals (15) and 10th in career points (34). This season she is tied for second in the PSAC in goals scored.
  
• Sophomore Maddie Murphy is fourth in the PSAC this season in save percentage (.762) and seventh in saves per game average 4.57
 
• Wolfe and Downing rank second and fifth in the PSAC in consecutive starts. Wolfe has started The Rock's last 50 games while Downing has made 46 consecutive starts. Bloomsburg's Tali Wehner leads the PSAC with 56 straight starts.
