The Rock received goals from junior Lindsay Brown and sophomore Courtney Bradshaw.

The Yellow Jackets got off to a quick start and scored on their first shot by Courtney Williams in the third minute of play. The Rock stepped up the pressure and evened things up on Brown's goal in the 28th minute of the first half.

Slippery Rock jumped out to an early lead in the second frame after Bradshaw found the back of the net to give The Rock a 2-1 advantage.
