BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University field hockey team (6-8, 2-4) fell 3-1 to No. 6 Bloomsburg (8-4, 4-1) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action Tuesday afternoon.

Domenici, Bloomsburg's leading scorer, pushed the lead to 2-0 after collecting a rebound off goalkeeper
Carlee DuMars and putting it in the back of the cage in the 10th minute.
DuMars stood tall and held the deficit at two through much of the second half, before a shot from Brittany Mathews found a hole and gave the hosts a 3-0 advantage in the 67th minute.
A blast by
Allison Shade ended Bloomsburg's hopes of a shutout in the 69th minute on a pass from
Renee Rosenblum.
DuMars received the loss after allowing three goals and making 10 saves.
Megan Eppley picked up the win, making three saves and allowing just one goal.
Bloomsburg posted advantages of 15-7 in total shots, 14-5 in shots on goal and 11-7 in penalty corners.
