Adelphi Box Score

Garden City, N.Y. – The Slippery Rock University field hockey team dropped its sixth straight game with a 3-0 loss to Adelphi on Sunday. 

The Rock recorded five shots, with three on goal. Freshmen Gabrielle Malishchak and Ariana White and sophomore Skylar Brosse recorded the shots on goal. Malishchak led the team with two shots while junior Allie Hartman also recorded a shot. Junior goalie Lisa Belcastro allowed three goals with five saves. 

Natasha Pedzik led Adelphi with two goals on two shots. Goalie Lucia Vigliotti recorded the shutout win. The Rock led in corner shots 8-7, while Adelphi led in shots,13-5 . 

The Rock returns to action for a four-game home stand Tuesday against Mansfield. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division matchup starts at 4 pm at Thompson Stadium.
