EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. -- The Rock dropped a 7-0 decision Sunday afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference "crossover" action at #7 East Stroudsburg.
SRU (2-15 overall, 0-7 PSAC-W) was outshot by a 21-5 margin overall and by a 17-4 margin in shots on goal.
Sophomore goalie
Lisa Belcastro recorded 10 saves in 52 minutes of action before being replaced by
Olivia Lampenfeld, who did not record a save in the final 18 minutes.
The Rock will look to snap a 14-game losing streak and close out the 2008 season on a winning note when they host Mercyhurst in a 4 p.m. PSAC-Western Division game Wednesday at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
