SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- Sophomore goalie
Lisa Belcastro (pictured above) recorded 20 saves Saturday afternoon to lead The Rock effort, but hosting Shippensburg escaped with a 1-0 win in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division action.
Belcastro's saves total matched her season-high mark set on two separate occasions earlier this fall.
The Rock (2-14 overall, 0-6 PSAC-W) were outshot by a 35-0 margin, but needed a 30th-minute goal to record the win.
The Rock returns to action at noon Sunday, when it will take on East Stroudsburg in a PSAC-West game.
SRU then concludes its 2008 season with a 4 p.m. home game Wednesday vs. Mercyhurst at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.
