Girgash won the decathlon at the SRU Open last week with an NCAA provisional score of 6,366 points, which is the best in the PSAC this season. On the way to that mark, he recorded PSAC qualifying marks in the 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash and 110-meter hurdles. Girgash now has PSAC marks in five different events, tied for the most in the PSAC.
