Leah Ann Wirfel helped lead the Slippery Rock University women’s cross country team to a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Region championships this weekend. Wirfel earned all-region honors after completing the 6,000-meter course in 21:17.3 to finish in ninth place.
