Senior quarterback Dante Nania led Slippery Rock to a decisive 61-12 victory over West Chester to give SRU its second PSAC Championship in as many years. Nania was in total control of leading the league's best offense to a dominant performance against the league's best defense. He was named MVP of the PSAC title game after throwing for 304 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions. He spread the ball to nine different receivers and five different players came down with the TD passes. West Chester entered the game allowing just 309 yards of offense per game and The Rock put up more than that in the first half on the way to a 61-12 win, scoring the most points and winning by the largest margin in PSAC title game history.
