LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Slippery Rock University lacrosse standout Abby Fink was named the Western Division Athlete of the Week when the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its weekly awards Tuesday.
 
Fink, a sophomore from Rochester, New York, led The Rock to a pair of wins last week that locked up a perfect 10-0 PSAC West record and the first division title in program history.
 
She opened the week by scoring four goals in an 11-10 win over No. 18 Seton Hill and closed the week by tying her career-high for a single game with seven points on six goals and one assist in an 18-11 win over Lock Haven.
 
Fink finished the week with 11 points on 10 goals and one assist while also causing two turnovers and grabbing five ground balls. Her 10 goals and 11 points last week brought her to career-highs of 40 goals and 50 points this season.
 
Slippery Rock is the No. 1 seed from the PSAC West in the PSAC Tournament and will meet the winner of East Stroudsburg and Millersville Friday at 4 p.m. in the PSAC Semifinals at West Chester University.
