SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - With inclement weather in the forecast for Saturday, the Slippery Rock University women's tennis team has changed the date of its 2025 home-opener with West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Originally scheduled to play 12 p.m. Saturday, The Rock and Bobcats will now meet for a non-conference match 4:30 p.m. Friday at the SRU Tennis Courts.
 
Having already played a daunting non-conference schedule this year, Slippery Rock enters Friday's match with a 3-6 overall record while West Viginia Wesleyan comes to The Rock at 1-8 on the year.
 
A full preview for the match, as well as SRU's Sunday road trip to Fairmont State University, will be posted later in the week.
