JayJay Jordan was named the Western Division Offensive Athlete of the Week when the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conferece announced the final weekly football awards of the season Monday.

Jordan, a junior from Reading, Pennsylvania, picks up his third PSAC Athlete of the Week award of the fall after his performance at Bloomsburg Saturday.

He rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries, averaging 7.5 yards per carry. Jordan also returned three kickoffs for 80 yards to finish with a game-high 261 all-purpose yards.

It marked the seventh time this season that Jordan rushed for at least 100 yards and his fifth game this season with at least 150 rushing yards. Jordan had at least 180 all-purpose yards in six different games and put up more than 250 all-purpose yards in three different games this year.

He led the PSAC in every rushing yardage category and in all-purpose yardage and ranked among the best players in the country all season. His 1,858 all-purpose yards were the most among all players in Division II with 10 games this year and ranked third overall when counting the players that played in 11 games. His 185.5 all-purpose yards per game ranked No. 2 in the country.

Jordan ranked sixth in the country in total rushing yards with 1,375 and ranked second in the nation among players that played in 10 games. His 8.09 yards per carry also ranked fourth-best in the nation and his 137.5 rushing yards per game ranked No. 4.

He closed the year ranked third in SRU single-season history in all-purpose yardage and eighth in single-season rushing, despite playing just 10 games.

Slippery Rock finished off the year with a 6-4 overall record to mark the 16th consecutive winning season for the program. The Rock were also listed as receiving votes in the final national poll released Monday and have been getting votes or ranked in every national poll released since week seven of the 2018 season.
