SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – After grabbing a conference-opening win over Lock Haven, the Slippery Rock University men's soccer team will travel to Greensburg, Pennsylvania to face Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division foe Seton Hill University 1 p.m. Saturday.
Slippery Rock enters the matchup with a 3-3-1 record overall and a 1-0-0 mark in the PSAC West. Seton Hill comes into the game on a three-game losing streak with a 4-4-0 record overall and a 0-1-0 record in the PSAC West.

SERIES HISTORY
Slippery Rock and Seton Hill first played each other in 2008, with The Rock claiming a 3-0 victory. Since the inaugural matchup, the two teams have played each other in every season and faced off a total of 22 times. SRU owns a 9-11-2 record overall against Seton Hill and a 3-6-1 record in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Despite a losing record against the Griffins, Slippery Rock went 2-0-1 last year against the Seton Hill. Jimmy Irani, Slippery Rock opened PSAC West action with a 1-0 win Wednesday over Lock Haven at James Egli Field.
Irani scored the lone goal in the game for either team. The mark was his second game-winning goal of the season, with his first coming in SRU's season-opener versus D'Youville University.
Zsombor Retfalvi and
Kaden Reynolds both picked up and assist on Irani's goal.
Alvey Kaufman played in goal for The Rock and picked up the victory while making two saves.
Irani led The Rock with four shots and three shots on goal. Retfalvi, Pandher,
Colton Swanson, and
Patrick Tierney all registered two shots in the contest.
Slippery Rock ended the match with a 12-6 edge in shots and a 9-2 tilt in shots on goal.
PSAC WEST ROAD GAMES
Slippery Rock found success on the road in conference play in 2024. The Rock were 3-1-1 in PSAC West road games last season. Before last season, the last time SRU had a winning record on the road in conference play was in 2015, when it went 4-2-0 in such games.
LEADING THE ROCK
Retfalvi and
Cornelis Dedecker have paced The Rock on offense as they both lead SRU in points with six. Reynolds and Irani trail the two forwards with five points apiece.
Retfalvi, Reynolds and Irani are all tied for the Slippery Rock goal lead with two. Dedecker, Pandher
and Tierney all have one tally for The Rock.
Dedecker leads all SRU players with four assists, while Retfalvi trails Dedecker with two assists. Irani, Pandher, Swanson and
Massimo Cuda have all collected one assist.
Pandher leads SRU with 14 shots through seven games. Dedecker and Reynolds trail the forward by one and three shots respectively, while Retfalvi has accumulated 10 shots. Pandher leads The Rock with nine shots on goal.

Slippery Rock has played two different goalkeepers in its first seven games. Kaufman has seen the majority of the time in goal and owns a 2-2-1 record with 13 saves on a .684 save percentage, while allowing three goals for a 1.2 goals against average.
Troy Nine is 1-1-0 with three saves on a .500 save percentage, while allowing three goals for a 1.5 GAA.
PSAC LEADERS
Slippery Rock has players near the top of multiple PSAC leaderboards through the first four weeks of the season. Dedecker currently sits atop the PSAC in assists with four helpers. The freshman also ranks third in the conference in assists per game with 0.57.
Pandher ranks third in the PSAC in shot accuracy with a .643 mark.
Kaufman ranks fourth in the PSAC in GAA with 1.2 and seventh in save percentage with a .684 mark.

Not only is Dedecker highly ranked in the PSAC, the freshman from Nykoping, Sweden is 16
th in all of Division II in assists (4) and 22

Pandher's shot accuracy has been a key to The Rock all season, as the junior from Brampton, Ontario has constantly tested opposing goalkeepers. Pandher currently ranks 24
th in the nation in shot on goal percetnage (.643).
WILHELM MOVING UP SRU WINS LIST

Kevin Wilhelm moved up The Rock's all-time wins list for men's soccer with SRU's win on Wednesday. Wilhelm is now tied for fourth on SRU's all-time wins list with 42 wins with Michael Bonelli (2010-13) and current Slippery Rock women's soccer head coach Noreen Herlihy (1997-01). Currently, Wilhelm sits 14 wins behind John Eiler (1946-55) for third place on the wins list.

SETON HILL SCOUTING REPORT
The Griffins got off to a fast start in 2025, winning four of their first five games, but have lost three straight games to fall to 4-4-0 on the year. To finish its three-game skid, Seton Hill lost its conference opener 5-0 to Gannon University.
James Aubrey, a junior from Hertfordshire, England, leads Seton Hill with five goals and 11 points this season. Julian Marker is the only other multi-goal scorer on Seton Hill so far.
Villads Jensen has paced the Griffins with two assists. Jensen is the only Griffin with multiple assists, but Seton Hill does have seven players to register one assist.
Jannik Reiss has started all eight games in goal for Seton Hill this year. Jensen has a 4-4-0 record with 24 saves for a .615 save percentage and has allowed 15 goals for a 1.90 GAA.
