INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS DAY
As part of The Rock field hockey program's 2024 special events colander, Tuesday's game will be International Students Day at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Kristen Kordich, the clerical assistant for the Office For Global Engagement at Slippery Rock, will take part in a ceremonial pass back. Among her many duties at Slippery Rock, Kordich supports the daily functions of the office as well as office events, study abroad, new and returning International Students and International Admissions.

Gianna Conti scored one goal and
Grace Burker made seven saves, but Slippery Rock lost to Indiana (Pa.) on the road, 2-1, Sept. 26, 2023 in PSAC competition. Conti gave SRU an early lead with a goal in the 10th minute before the Crimson Hawks rallied with scores from Sydney Schmouder (18') and Claire Murphy (35') in addition to four saves by Anita Planella to pull of the comeback win.
