SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- The nationally ranked Slippery Rock University football program has announced two summer prospect camps for high school players entering grades 9-12 with one-day clinics set for May 7 and June 27 at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

The cost to attend each of the one-day camps will be $70 per player. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ups will be welcomed at each date.

Both dates will include athletic testing, agility stations, position-specific drills and one-on-one drills. Campers will receive training on technique and fundamentals for each position and will have the chance to compete with some of the top high school talent in the region while being evaluated by the staff of the nationally recognized Slippery Rock football program.

These camps are unpadded sessions. Players will only need to bring their cleats and will not need helmets or pads.

ABOUT THE ROCK FOOTBALL PROGRAM: Slippery Rock won a share of a fourth straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division title in 2022 and reached the NCAA Playoffs for the fourth straight season before finishing with a 10-3 overall record for its seventh 10-win season in program history. The Rock own the third-longest active playoff streak in Division II, have the fourth-most wins among all Division II teams over the last four years and wrapped up their 13th straight winning season this fall. SRU finished the season ranked No. 16 in the final Division II national poll and was one of only 12 teams in the country to be ranked in every poll released in 2022.
