SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University Athletics Department will host a Halloween "Trunk-or-Treat" event for children and families in the local community Sunday, Oct. 29 from 6-8 p.m. at the track at Old Thompson Field.
 
Each of the Slippery Rock's Athletics teams will set up a station around the track to hand out candy and other goodies to children from the community. The SRU coaching staffs, Athletics administration and numerous student-athletes from The Rock's 17 NCAA Division II teams will be on hand to meet and greet with the community during the event.
 
The event is free to attend and will happen rain or shine. If there is inclement weather, the event will take place inside Morrow Field House on the lower level.
 
Halloween costumes are encouraged! Dress the family up in your favorite costumes and come join us for a fun evening with Slippery Rock Athletics!
