PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University women's outdoor track and field team recorded three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference automatic qualifying marks and 11 top-10 finishes at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational that wrapped up Saturday in Pittsburgh.
 
Most of the Slippery Rock roster elected not to compete this weekend after rain, snow, cold temperatures and windy conditions made competing difficult.
 
Jena Reinheimer recorded a third place finish in the hammer throw with a PSAC mark of 49.99 meters and took fifth in the shot put with a PSAC mark of 12.08 meters. Rachel Hutchinson joined Reinheimer with a PSAC mark in the hammer with a 10th place showing and a toss of 42.31 meters.
 
Aleks Brozeski won the long jump with a leap of 5.15 meters and took second in the triple jump with a mark of 10.53 meters. She also took sixth in the 200-meter dash in 28.63 seconds. Abby Williamson was third in the long jump at 5.04 meters and fifth in the triple jump at 9.96 meters. She also took 10th in the 100-meter dash in 14.28 seconds. Marissa Seminick took eighth in the triple jump at 9.52 meters and was 15th in the long jump at 4.33 meters.
 
The final top-10 of the weekend belonged to Allison Rennette, who placed 10th in the 800-meter run in 2:27.26.
 
Slippery Rock will shift its focus to the first of two home meets when The Rock hosts the Dave Labor Invitational next Saturday at the William Lennox Track.
