NON-CONFERENCE SUCCESS
Slippery Rock's record under head coach Kevin Wilhelm is 7-2-4 (.538) when hosting non-conference contests at James Egli Field. The Rock has outscored those opponents by 25-11 while claiming six shutout victories.

This season alone, SRU is 2-2-1 in its non-conference schedule, including a 2-0-1 mark at home. With two contests remaining out of PSAC play, Tuesday against RWU and Oct. 22 at Daemen College, two victories would mark the first winning non-conference record for The Rock under Wilhelm.

HOME-FIELD HEROES
SRU holds a 17-11-4 (.531) record, since the inaugural season of Wilhelm, when welcoming its competitors to James Egli Field. During that timeframe, Slippery Rock has beat those competitors by a +19 margin (54-35), recorded 11 shutout wins and has held those opponents to no more than one goal in 21 of the 32 contests.

ROCK SOLID DEFENSE
Anchoring the Slippery Rock defense is Aly who is first in the conference in saves per game (5.67), second in saves (51), sixth in save percentage (.773) and ninth in goals against average (1.67).

After allowing nine goals over their first four contests, The Rock's backline has settled in as of late surrendering six goals over its most recent five games. Additionally, SRU has allowed only six first half goals this year.

A LOOK AT THE OFFENSE
Pla Hernandis continues to lead the Slippery Rock offense as he totals eight points on four goals. Pla Hernandis is tied for fourth in the PSAC in game-winning goals with two.

Following is Sean Spencer who also ties for fourth in the conference in game-winning goals (2) to go along with five points on two goals and one assist.

Ramses Minaya is the only SRU player to have tallied two assists this year in addition to netting one goal. Alex Plimmer and Joe Skillicorn each have three points on one goal and one assist.

Rounding out The Rock's point scorers are Max Murphy with one goal and Nathan Kortyna with an assist.

PROGRAM HISTORY UPDATES
With eight regular season games remaining, Wilhelm is two wins away from passing Andy Hoggarth for eighth all-time in wins by an SRU men's soccer coach with 26.

Hillman is currently eighth on the list of consecutive starts by an SRU men's soccer player with 34, and is two starts away from moving past Greg Blum (2007-10) for seventh. With at least eight contests remaining this year, Hillman has the potential to end his career fifth on the list.
