IN HIS WORDS
Q: What’s the first concert you went to? What’s the most recent concert you went to?
A: I am not much of a concert guy, but I most recently saw Taylor Swift on her Reputation Tour in Pittsburgh.

Q: When did you know you wanted to go into a career in collegiate athletics?
A: I always knew that I wanted to work in sports but I wasn’t sure in what capacity. Once I got to SRU as a student and started doing facility and equipment work, I knew that it was what I was looking for in a career.

Q: What was the last book you read? Thoughts on it?
A: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I am a big fan of the Hunger Games, so I was really excited when I ordered the book and it did not disappoint!

Q: What meal/dish/item are you best at cooking?
A: Either milkshakes or smoked pork butt, which turns into pulled pork.

Q: What artists and/or songs on your current most-listened to playlist?
A: Taylor Swift is my all-time favorite so I mostly listen to her, but Carly Rae Jepsen’s newest album has me hooked. I also believe that Christmas music should be listened to year-round, so it gets listened to a lot.

Q: Favorite current TV show? Favorite TV show of all-time?
A: My favorite current show would have to be The Good Place, I watched it the full way through during the summer and loved it! Community is another one of my favorite shows.

Q: When you go grocery shopping, are you the “Make a List” person or the “Just Wing It” person?
A: I always make a list to make sure I get the essentials but I always toss a few things in the cart that are just the most random purchases.

Q: What was your favorite or most memorable vacation?
A: I would probably say my first trip to Dodger Stadium because I had dreamed of going there for the longest time and to finally be there eating a Dodger Dog and looking out over the San Gabriel mountains was just a special moment for me.

Q: You could have dinner with three people living or dead, who would they be and why?
A: I am just going to give one name and that is Vin Scully, the retired announcer for the Dodgers. Having breakfast with him would make my life complete. The stories that he told on his broadcasts were so fascinating and I would just love to meet him.

Q: Describe your perfect day off.
A: I would probably say a round of golf in the morning followed by attending a MLB game in the evening. Throw in some good food for lunch and dinner and I would be a happy guy.

Q: Do you listen to podcasts? If so, what are your favorites?
A: My top two podcasts would be “Marty Smith’s America” and “Sports? with Katie Nolan.”

Q: How many and what kind of pets do you have? How long have you had them?
A: I have a cat named Gagne after retired Dodger closer Eric Gagne and I’ve had him for a little over three years now. My brother also has a cat named Dave.

Q: Sheetz or WaWa? Why?
A: GetGo, final answer.

Q: What’s the last TV show you binged watched?
A: I’m currently watching Breaking Bad. My old roommate loved the show so I had watched like three different episodes and I decided it was time to watch it the full way through.
