Tyler McCarthy scored SRU's only goal in a 3-1 loss at East Stroudsburg on Sept. 30, 2017. ESU's James McMahon, Irvin Zuzic and Michael Tolley recorded one goal apiece en route to the 3-1 victory.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
• LAST TIME OUT – Slippery Rock played No. 25 Seton Hill to a 0-0 draw Wednesday afternoon in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. SRU goalkeeper Matt Hunsberger recorded seven saves in net for the contest.
 
THE OFFENSE – Luke Picchi leads Slippery Rock scorers with six points on three goals. Five other Rock players have recorded one score including Hayden Seifert, George Oakley, Omar Bangura, Justin Minda and Cory Olix.
 
• MOVING THE BALL – Seifert and Alexander Vilchek are tied for the team lead in assists with two apiece.  Oakley, Bangura and Tyler Ramer have each registered one assist.
 
• THE DEFENSE – SRU's defense is fourth in the PSAC in save percentage at .800 and is tied for fourth in team shutouts with three.
 
• HELPFUL HUNSBERGER – Hunsberger is tied for second in the conference in shutouts (3), fourth in save percentage at .811 and fifth in goals against average at 1.07. 
 
• RING OF HONOR – Seven members of both the SRU men's and women's soccer programs will be honored Friday evening for their contributions on and off the field. Raymond Aubel, Jeff Buirge, Mike Dichov, Roberta Greene, Sal Marsico, Melisa O'Toole and Richard Tongel were all inducted into the Ring of Honor.

•  The Warriors are led by Eddy Enowbi who has tallied 10 points on five goals.
 
• Irvin Zuzic has registered nine points on two goals and five assists while Jordan Ellison has recorded eight points on two goals and four assists.
 
• Will Boerema has started seven contests in goal for ESU posting a 1.29 goals against average and .667 save percentage. Boerema has also tallied three shutouts in net for the Warriors.
 
•  ESU is being outscored by SRU in its last five meetings, 7-4.
