SCOUTING THE ROCK
• LAST TIME OUT – Slippery Rock dropped a non-conference contest at District of Columbia, 2-0, on Wednesday. Alexander Vilchek and George Oakley recorded two shots on goal apiece in the loss. Matt Hunsberger tallied seven saves in net.
 
• HELD SCORELESS – SRU's loss to UDC marked the second time it was shut out by an opponent this season. It previously was blanked, 1-0, at Tiffin to begin its season.
 
• SPREADING THE WEALTH – The Rock have four different goal scorers thus far in 2018 in Hayden Seifert, Luke Picchi, Justin Minda and Oakley. Seifert, Vilchek and Tyler Ramer each have an assist for SRU.
 
• ON THE MONEY – Despite Slippery Rock not getting many shots to fall, it does have three players with a shots on goal percentage of 1.000 in Seifert, Minda and Connor Jobe.
 
• FIRING, BUT NOT FALLING – Although SRU has only scored four goals this season, it is sixth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference in total shots with 62 and in shots on goal, tallying 29.
 
• FIGHTING THE ATTACK – The Rock defense is fifth in the league in goals against average at 1.20. In goal, Hunsberger carries a 1-3-1 record starting in every game and has managed a 1.15 goals against average and .800 save percentage.

•  Offensively, Cedarville is led by Derek Braak and Cole Butaud who have registered six and five total points, respectively. Braak has recorded three goals while Butaud has two scores and one assist.
 
• Sammy Kilimann, Keegan Wondergem and Josiah Fragnito each have four points apiece.
 
• Carter Selvius has started every game in goal for the Yellow Jackets recording 21 saves on 68 shots faced, posting a 0.99 goals against average and a .778 save percentage.
 
•  CU is 1-1 against opponents who SRU has played. The Yellow Jackets defeated Tiffin, 3-2 in overtime, and lost at Ashland, 1-0.
