LAST TIME OUT – SRU dropped a league contest against Seton Hill 2-1 Wednesday afternoon at James Egli Field.
Tyler McCarthy scored his first goal in a Slippery Rock uniform, while
Kenton Keeslar tallied his first assist of 2017.

ALMOST OT – SRU nearly tied the game late. In the final minute, The Rock's
Kyle Boyer fired a shot that was blocked. Then,
Sean Tinney sent one that got blocked.
Cory Olix fired one at 89:35 that the goalie smothered for the save. Seton Hill held on for the victory.

MAKIN' SAVES – Jonathan Sharp has been great in net early this year. He currently leads the PSAC in save percentage (.830), ranks third in goals against average (1.083) and is tied for third in shutouts (2).

YOUNG HELP – Tinney has recorded three assists this season. He is the first freshman to tally three assists in a season since Chris Davis did it back in 2011.

ADD TO THE SCORERS LIST – Anthony Werth and Boyer are tied atop the team leaderboard in total points with four each, on two goals apiece. Tinney follows with three total points on his three assists. McCarthy and McVeagh have recorded a goal each, and Oakley has registered one assist.

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
• ESU is led by three players who have accumulated six points apiece. Anton Lysell (three goals), Shaquille Stephenson (two goals, two assists) and James McMahon (two goals, two assists) currently lead the scoring charge for the Warriors.

• Jo Panuccio and Eddy Enowbi have also registered two goals each, while Marcus Torgersson, Irvin Zuzic, Lata Petros, Keelby Espinola, Ahmad Awadalla, Christian Bukowski and Nils Bjorquist have all tallied one goal apiece.

• Will Boerema has started all seven games and has made 17 saves and has a .630 save percentage.
