SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University men's soccer team will aim to capture its second straight win when it faces Bloomsburg University in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference match 6:30 p.m. Saturday night at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

SCOUTING THE ROCK
• LAST TIME OUT – Slippery Rock defeated Pitt-Johnstown 4-0 to record its first PSAC victory of 2017.
Tyler McCarthy,
Brady Sittinger, Oakley and Keeslar tallied goals in the victory.
• SHOOTER'S SHOOT – The Rock managed its highest shot output this season in the win over UPJ. 24 total shots were taken and 13 were on goal.
• THREE STRAIGHT – McCarthy has put together quite a three-game stretch. He now leads the team in total points (six) with three goals and has scored all of them in the last three games. It's the first time since 2015 that a Rock player has tallied at least one goal in three straight games. Matt Sangermano did it from Oct. 24, 2015 through Nov. 3, 2015.
• LONELY IS THE NIGHT – The Rock will be playing its third night contest this season. Despite being 0-2-0 in night games this year, SRU is 10-7-5 in evening matches dating back to 2010.
• SAVING THE DAY – Goalkeeper
Jonathan Sharp leads the PSAC in save percentage with a .806 clip. Sharp has tallied 50 saves in 10 starts this year. He also has a 1.16 goals against average, which is good for third best in the league.

• Mike Bazadona III is the team-leading scorer and has registered six total points on three goals.
• The duo of Austin Transue and Carter Luckenbaugh have tallied five points apiece. Transue has two goals, while Luckenbaugh has recorded five assists.
• Goalkeeper Taylor Lesage has started in all eight games for BU and has registered 40 saves and has a .656 save percentage.
