Box Score MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The Slippery Rock University women's tennis team recorded an impressive 9-0 non-conference victory on the road against Alderson Broaddus Saturday afternoon. The match was played at the Ridgeview Racquet Club in Morgantown, West Virginia.
The victory improves Slippery Rock's record to 4-2 on the season. Alderson Broaddus drops to 1-5 in 2015-16 with the loss.

Kylee Woodman recorded matching 8-0 victories while the No. 1 duo of
Carla Corrochano Moracho /
Nina Barbano tallied an 8-1 triumph. Moracho and Barbano are now 7-2 on the season.
The Rock dominated singles competition as well. Bruscemi and Fortier each registered 6-0, 6-0 wins at fourth and fifth singles, respectively against Nicole Martin and Taylor England.
Barbano and
Allie Welch just missed shutouts as well; Barbano won 6-0, 6-1 out of the second flight against Eva Sever and Welch was a 6-1, 6-0 victor in the sixth slot over Chelsea Jefferson. Barbano now boasts an 8-5 singles record while Welch climbed above the .500 mark for the year Saturday at 5-4.
Kollah picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win against Stephanie Gertsakis at third singles and Moracho won 6-0, 6-4 versus Mireia Fabrega in the first flight to close the match and extend her record to 6-3 this season.
Slippery Rock returns to competition 3 p.m. Feb. 27 at St. Bonaventure.
