SERIES HISTORY
East Stroudsburg leads the all-time series 22-9-1, but The Rock has taken three straight games from the Warriors and six of the last eight games overall. Saturday's game will be the first between SRU and ESU at Slippery Rock since The Rock defeated the Warriors on Oct. 25, 2013.

Last Time Out: Slippery Rock was narrowly edged by No. 17 Gannon University, 1-0, in a close contest Oct. 5 at James Egli Field.
• Slippery Rock still has time to turn its season around and qualify for the PSAC Tournament, which features the top six teams in the league standings at the end of the regular season. Slippery Rock enters the weekend ranked 10th in the league standings, but just five points behind sixth-place East Stroudsburg. Teams get three points for a win and one for a tie. With five PSAC games remaining in 2016, Slippery Rock still controls its own destiny.
• With just 12 goals allowed this season, Slippery Rock continues to boast one of the top defenses in the region. Only California (8), Charleston (10) and Urbana (10) have allowed fewer goals in the Atlantic Region. Most recently, SRU held Gannon, the top scoring team in the PSAC to just one goal.
• Goalkeepers
Jonathan Sharp and
Steven Rerick have split time this season. Sharp is 2-4-1 with a 1.21 goals against average and a .778 save percentage and Rerick is 0-2-1 with a 1.10 goals against average and a .833 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS

Last Time Out: East Stroudsburg had its four-game winning streak snapped in a 2-1 non-conference loss at Felician on Oct. 5.
• With 21 goals, East Stroudsburg features the fifth-ranked offense in the PSAC. Defensively, ESU is in the middle of pack of the PSAC with 15 goals allowed; the seventh most in the league.
• Christian Bukowski leads ESU with 16 points off of team-highs of six goals and four assists. Brandon Levano has five goals and three assists with Andre McGinley and Irvin Zudic each chipping three goals as well.
• Goalkeeper Will Boerema has played every minute for ESU this year, posting a 1.69 goals against average, 31 saves and a .646 save percentage.
• The Warriors are three wins away from tallying their winningest season since 2010.
