SCOUTING THE ROCK
• Last Time Out: Slippery Rock started the 2015 season with a 2-1 win at home against Malone University. Today's match will be Damen's first of the year.
 
• Senior defender Ryan Lutke and junior forward Matt Sangermano were responsible for Slippery Rock's goals against Malone.
 
• Three of Sangermano's four career goals at Slippery Rock have come when he has entered the game as a reserve.
 
• Also tallying his first point of the season against Malone was forward Peter Boylan, who assisted on Sangermano's goal.
 
• Boylan also drew the foul that led to Slippery Rock being awarded a penalty kick, which Lutke would score on.
 
• 10 SRU players were playing in their first games at Slippery Rock against Malone. Junior defender Patrick Sullivan, freshman midfielder Kenton Keeslar, freshman midfielder George Oakley, freshman midfielder Justin Minda, freshman defender Aaron Lambert and freshman defender Devin Hoffman all started in their debuts.
• Junior goalkeeper Steven Rerick stopped two shots vs. Malone.
 
• Last Meeting: Stephen Donnelly and Dom Francis both scored goals with Donnelly also adding an assist while Rerick made five saves en route to a 2-1 road victory at Daemen on Sept. 13, 2014.

SCOUTING DAEMEN
• The Wildcats will embark on their first season under new head coach Dan Dolan in 2015.
 
• Dolan's squad is coming off a 2014 season that saw the team go 5-10 overall and 2-8 in the East Coast Conference, establishing a new program record for total wins versus NCAA Division II opponents (five) as well as ECC wins.
 
• The Wildcats will welcome back four of their six goal-scorers from a season ago, including leading scorer Cole Beale who totaled five goals and one assist for 11 points.
 
• Also back is striker Alex Reid, now a junior, who has totaled 23 points in 31 career games over his first two seasons.
