Nina Barbano and
Carla Corrochano Moracho nearly picked up a victory before losing a tight 8-4 match to Mara Martinez-Santor and Marisa Brossard.

Anna Carpenter /
Courtney Gallagher both lost 8-1 to give the Bonnies a 1-0 advantage, due to NCAA scoring rules, over The Rock exiting doubles play.

The young Slippery Rock team continued to play St. Bonaventure close in singles play, but couldn't quite come away with a win.

Barbano fell 6-2, 6-3 to Brossard at No. 2 singles in the closest match of the evening.

Corrochano Moracho was upended at first singles by Fatya Amiri 6-0, 6-2 while Fortier dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision in the fourth flight. Petrovic lost 6-1, 6-0 to Martinez-Santor, Gallagher was beaten by Dominique Mortier 6-1, 6-1 and Francesca Chin downed
Emily Munson 6-3, 6-0 to round out Saturday's matches.
