Justin Minda both scored goals while junior goalkeeper
Steven Rerick made a career-high nine saves as Slippery Rock defeated No. 25 Notre Dame College, 2-1, under the lights of Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.
• In three starts this season, Rerick is 3-0 with a 0.67 goals against average, an impressive .895 save percentage and one shutout. In two years at Slippery Rock Rerick is 11-7 with four career shutouts.
• With just 10 goals allowed, the second fewest in the PSAC, SRU's defense has been one of the top units in the PSAC through the first half of the season.
• Of the 10 goals surrendered, four have come in the first half. Only Millersville (three), Bloomsburg (three) and Shippensburg (three) have allowed less in the PSAC.

Ryan Lutke leads SRU with five goals followed by Ilodigwe (3), junior forward
Matt Sangermano (2) and five others with one goal each. Ilodigwe also has a team-high 10 shots on goal for The Rock.

• Minda's game-winner against Notre Dame was the first goal of his Rock career. He is the third member of the 2015 team to score their first goals for SRU; junior midfielder

Kyle Boyer also tallied their first goals for Slippery Rock this year. Thiel had previously scored one goal during his time at Seton Hill.
• Historically, the month of October has been good to Rock soccer. Since the 2003 season, SRU is 57-27-7 (.665) in October matches. Slippery Rock has posted a losing record in October just once, a 3-4 mark in 2008.
• NCAA Division II does not keep penalty shots as an official stat, but research shows that Lutke leads the nation in successful PK's. Only one other player in the nation, Jordan Halpern of West Virginia Wesleyan, has more than three goals off of penalty kicks.
• Following Saturday's game, Slippery Rock will play five of its final seven games in the regular season on the road.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES•
Last time out: Bloomsburg dropped a PSAC contest to California (PA), 4-3, in double overtime at Steph Pettit Stadium. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Huskies.
• The Huskies have one of the top offenses in the league with 18 goals through nine matches, the third most in the PSAC.
• Austin Transue has scored a team-high five goals for Bloomsburg.
• Goalkeepers Jared Ott and Taylor LeSage have evenly split time in 2015 with Ott starting five games and LeSage starting four times. Both keepers have allowed five goals.
• Anthony Cerda is second for Bloomsburg in goals with three.
