HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Slippery Rock University women's tennis team blanked Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and NCAA Division II rival Bloomsburg University, 9-0, Thursday morning to record its sixth consecutive win.

The whitewash was the fourth recorded by The Rock during their current win streak and improved the Green and White's season record to 6-4. The Rock are 5-0 on their spring-break trip to South Carolina.

Bloomsburg saw its season record drop to 1-3.

Sarah Joumond and Kasey Love led The Rock's winning effort Thursday as they teamed up for an 8-0 win in the No. 1 doubles match then breezed to victory in their respective singles matches.

The Rock conclude their spring break schedule with an 8 a.m. match Friday vs. conference/regional rival Millersville University in Hilton Head Island.
