MOON TOWSHIP, Pa. -- Inclement weather conditions have forced the cancellation of the women's tennis match scheduled for Tuesday between Slippery Rock University and hosting Robert Morris University.
No immediate plans were announced for rescheduling the match, Rock head coach
Matt Meredith said.
The Rock return to the courts Saturday when they travel to Charleston, W. Va., for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Atlantic Regional singles and doubles competitions.
The next dual match on The Rock schedule is an Oct. 6 home date with Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Kutztown University (10:30 a.m. start). SRU closes out the fall portion of its schedule the following day with a 10 a.m. home match vs. PSAC rival Millersville University.
Following The Rock vs. Kutztown match on Oct. 6, California (Pa.) will take on Millersville at approximately 1:30 p.m. and Kutztown at approximately 4:30 p.m.
