SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University men's soccer team will travel to Lock Haven for a noon match Saturday that will close the 2012 regular season.

Playoff Situation: Slippery Rock clinched a playoff berth with a 2-1 win over No. 12 Gannon earlier this week. The Rock will play on the road in the opening round of the playoffs, but will not know where until the conclusion of Saturday's games. Lock Haven has been eliminated from playoff contention.
Scouting The Rock: Slippery Rock enters the game with an 8-3-6 overall record and a 3-3-2 mark in the PSAC.
Slippery Rock is outscoring opponents 32-16 and outshooting the opposition 269-218.

Scouting the Bald Eagles: Lock Haven enters the game with an overall record of 6-9-1 and a PSAC mark of 2-6.
The Bald Eagles are being outscored 24-20 and outshot 184-183 on the year. Jacob Oldaker leads the team with six goals and two assists, while Bobby Mohr has added four goals and two assists. Trent Burris has three goals and Gregory Bretz, Asher Kiahold and Davis Qaisi all have two goals and one assist to cap the top scorers.
Chris Frederick has played the majority of minutes in goal for LHU and is 4-6-1 with four shutouts. He has allowed 15 goals for a 1.33 goals against average and has made 49 saves for a .766 save percentage.
Head Coaches: Michael Bonelli is in his third season at the helm of the Slippery Rock program. Bonelli has posted a record of 26-17-9 in his three seasons, including an 11-7-1 mark and a berth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference playoffs in 2010. Prior to his time at SRU, Bonelli spent five seasons as an assistant coach at the Division I level, with stints at Northwestern and Lafayette. He received a bachelor's degree in physical education from SUNY Cortland in 2004.
Doug Moore is in his 11th season as the head coach of the LHU men's team and his third season as the women's coach. He owns an overall record of 105-72-19 in his tenure with the men's program. He is a 1966 graduate of Sheffield Hallam University.
