SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University men's soccer team will close its six match homestand Wednesday when Bloomsburg University visits Egli Field for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.

Scouting The Rock: Slippery Rock enters the game with a 5-2-3 overall record and a 1-2 mark in PSAC games. The Rock is coming off a split last weekend, falling to California Friday and defeating Shippensburg Saturday.
Slippery Rock is outscoring opponents 24-13 and outshooting the opposition 179-118. The Rock scored just 24 goals in 17 games last year.
Stephen Donnelly and
Michael Ramirez lead the team with four goals and one assist each, while
Chris Davis has three goals and one assist.

Joshua Gray each have two goals and two assists and

Clayton Master has started nine games in goal for SRU and is 4-2-3 with two shutouts. He has allowed 11 goals for a goals against average of 1.16 and has made 34 saves for a .756 save percentage.
Joe Agerskow has started one game and is 1-0, has allowed two goals for a 1.73 goals against average and has made five saves for a .714 save percent.
Scouting the Huskies: Bloomsburg enters the game with a 5-5 overall record and is 0-2 in PSAC games. The Huskies are coming off a pair of losses on the road last weekend, falling to Charleston and West Virginia Wesleyan.
Bloomsburg is being outscored 20-19 and is outshooting the opposition 154-117. Fran Miller leads the team with four goals and three assists, while Spencer Conrad also has four goals. Bryce Shaffer has three goals and one assist, Miguel Diaz has two goals and three assists and Anthony Manero has three goals to cap the top scorers.
Ramon Lobo Jr has started six games for Bloomsburg and is 3-3 with one shutout, a 2.17 GAA and a .552 save percentage. Bernie Roell has started four games and is 2-2 with one shutout, a 1.71 GAA and a .731 save percentage.
Head Coaches: Michael Bonelli is in his third season at the helm of the Slippery Rock program. Bonelli has posted a record of 23-17-6 in his three seasons, including an 11-7-1 mark and a berth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference playoffs in 2010. Prior to his time at SRU, Bonelli spent five seasons as an assistant coach at the Division I level, with stints at Northwestern and Lafayette. He received a bachelor's degree in physical education from SUNY Cortland in 2004.
Paul Payne is in his 14th season as the head coach at Bloomsburg, where he has a career record of 99-127-25. He has led the team to the PSAC playoffs in five seasons, including one trip to the conference title game. Payne graduated from Kutztown University, where he played collegiate soccer. He is known for creating the Red Card Cancer program, which is designed to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
Series History: Slippery Rock owns a 12-6-2 advantage in the all-time series, but Bloomsburg has the most recent victory, a 1-0 win here at Slippery Rock last season.

Timothy White took the loss in goal for SRU, allowing one goal and recording one save. Bernie Roell earned the shutout with seven saves.
