SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Jayme Timmons scored an unassisted goal with 2:46 left to play Saturday afternoon to account for the only Rock point in a 23-1 loss to sixth-ranked Lock Haven in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

Lock Haven (14-3 overall, 12-2 PSAC) scored 16 first-half goals and the first six goals of the second half before Timmons got SRU (90-16, 0-14) on the scoreboard.

The Bald Eagles then scored a meaningless goal with seven seconds left to play to account for the final 22-goal margin.

Rock starting goalie Ashley Winkelspecht recorded three saves in the first half of action while Sara Williams turned aside eight second-half shots. The Rock was outshot by a 39-8 margin.

SRU concludes its 2008 season Monday with a 4 p.m. home game vs. seventh-ranked Mercyhurst.
