MILLERSVILLE, Pa. -- Katie Krouse scored two goals Thursday to lead The Rock attack in a 25-5 loss at Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Millersville.

Stephanie Freeman, Julie Holt and Jayme Timmons each added a goal for SRU (0-15 overall, 0-13 PSAC).

Timmons now has 15 goals to her credit this spring, Krouse three, Freeman two and Holt one.

The Rock played Thursday's game without leading scorer Caitlin O'Brien (23 goals, 2 assists) and No. 3 scorer Brooke Scholl (4 goals, 5 assists).

Rock starting goalie Ashley Winkelspecht recorded 10 saves in the first 41 minutes of action before Sara Williams turned away one shot in the final 19 minutes.

The Rock was outshot by a 48-13 margin.

SRU returns to action at 1 p.m. Saturday, when it will host No. 6 Lock Haven in a PSAC game on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

The Rock then concludes its 2008 season with a 4 p.m. non-conference home game Monday vs. Mercyhurst.
