O'Brien scores 2 goals, Timmons 1 in 15-3 loss to IUP

Caitlin O'Brien increased her season goals scored total to 23 while Jayme Timmons recorded her 14th goal of the season

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- #Caitlin O'Brien scored two goals and Jayme Timmons# added one Monday afternoon to account for The Rock's scoring attack in a 15-3 loss to visiting Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Indiana U. of Pa. on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

The goals were the team-high 22nd and 23rd scored this season by O'Brien, while Timmons improved her season total to 14 goals.

Rock starting goalie Ashley Winkelspecht recorded nine saves in the first 36 and a half minutes of action before Sara Williams turned away seven shots in the final 23:30.

The Rock returns to action Thursday, when it will travel to PSAC rival Millersville for the final road game of the season.

SRU then closes out the 2008 schedule with home games Saturday vs. conference rival Lock Haven (1 p.m.) and Monday vs. non-conference foe Mercyhurst (4 p.m.).
