SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Caitlin O'Brien scored two goals Thursday afternoon to lead The Rock effort in a 19-2 loss to visiting Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Bloomsburg on Bob DiSpirito Field at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

The tallies improved O'Brien's team-high goals scored total to nine.

Stephanie Freeman and Dana Johnson  each recorded an assist for The Rock, who lost for the seventh time in as many games this spring and sixth time in conference action.

Bloomsburg outshot SRU by a 46-8 margin en route to its third win in five games overall and third PSAC triumph in four outings.

Rock goalie Ashley Winkelspecht recorded 18 saves in a complete-game performance.

The Rock returns to action at 4 p.m. Monday, when it will host NCAA Division II independent Kutztown.
