ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Dana Johnson scored the lone Rock goal in Monday's 17-1 season-opening loss to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival East Stroudsburg.

ESU won a 20-1 decision over SRU two days later to drop the Green and White's record to 2-0.

The Rock fired off 17 shots on goal in the first game, but trailed by a 15-0 margin at halftime.

Ashley Winkelspecht, SRU's starting goalie, recorded 14 saves but allowed 13 goals before Sara Williams made five saves and allowed four goals in a relief role.

In the March 12 game, Caitlin O'Brien scored the lone Rock goal, while Winkelspecht and Williams combined to make 17 saves.
