The 2024 season will mark Erin Street’s 15th year overall as an assistant coach for the Slippery Rock University volleyball program. She will serve as the acting head coach after the announcement of head coach Laurie Lokash's retirement.
As the top assistant on head coach Laurie Lokash’s staff, Street plays an integral role in all facets of the program. Over her first 14 seasons at Slippery Rock, Street has helped coach SRU to four NCAA Tournament appearances, 189 wins and 11 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Awards.

• Has helped guide SRU to four NCAA Tournament appearances (2006, 2007, 2008, 2011) and a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament berths (2006, 2008).
• Slippery Rock has had 16 AVCA All-Atlantic Region honorees during Street’s tenure.
• Played a crucial role in the development of 15 All-PSAC athletes at The Rock, including 2011 Freshman of the Year Janna Reilly.

CAREER PATH
• Led Grove City College to 49 wins during time in charge of the Wolverines’ volleyball program.
• The 49 victories represented the second-highest win total over a four-year stretch for Grove City dating back to 2007.
• The 2015 Grove City team won 11 Presidents’ Athletic Conference matches, the most by a Grove City team since 1987.
• Under her guidance, 14 Grove City athletes earned All-PAC honors. Street also led GCC to three PAC Team Sportsmanship awards.
• Grove City excelled off the court under Street, earning three AVCA Team Academic Awards.
• In addition to her volleyball duties, Street served as an assistant track and field coach as well as an assistant professor of Exercise Science at Grove City.
ATHLETIC CAREER
• Attended Wheeling Jesuit University, where she was a standout on the volleyball court for the Cardinals from 2002-05.
• Finished career ranking second in Wheeling Jesuit history in service aces per game (0.48), third in assists per game (8.74), fourth in total assists (1,285) and ninth in double-doubles.
• Served as co-captain for the Cardinals during senior season.
PERSONAL
• Native of Charlotte, North Carolina.
• Earned Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Wheeling Jesuit in 2006.
• Received Master’s in Community Counseling at Slippery Rock in 2009.
