CLINTON, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University men's cross country team took seventh at the RMU Colonial Invitational hosted by Robert Morris University Friday morning at the Youthtowne Fields XC Course.
Carnegie Mellon won the team race with 38 points with a pair of Division I teams in second (Youngstown State, 64 points) and third (Robert Morris, 72 points). Davis & Elkins was fourth with 120 points and St. Bonaventure rounded out the top five with 123 points. Slippery Rock was the second Division II finisher behind D&E in seventh place with 160 points.
Easton Adamczyk led The Rock for the second week in a row with a 10th place finish after covering the 8,000-meter course in 27:09. He was the second Division II finisher in the race behind eighth place Riccardo Andreatta from Davis & Elkins.
Eli Schreiber was the next scorer for SRU in 23rd place in 27:36.
Michael Gauntner followed in 35th place in 28:02 with
Ty Fiscus placing 46th in 28:15 and
Ryan Czechowski rounding out the scorers in 75th place in 29:09.
Brady Hoffman was 77th in 29:14 and
Dylan Ribelin rounded out the top seven finishers in 81st place in 29:19.

The Rock will take next week off before returning to action Sept. 26 at the Lock Haven Invite.
