SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Slippery Rock University had 257 student-athletes named as 2025-26 Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award honorees when the organization announced its academic awards Wednesday.
 
Student-athletes must have completed at least four semesters of academic work and own a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above to be named as a D2ADA Academic Achievement Award winner.
 
Slippery Rock ranked seventh in the nation in total award recipients and was one of just 16 institutions with at least 200 honorees overall.

Thanks in no small part to The Rock's total, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference led all Division II conferences with a total of 1,969 individuals being recognized.
