LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Slippery Rock University women's tennis standout Alissia Kivi has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Monday.  
 
Monday's announcement marks the second time in the last three weeks that Kivi has been honored as the PSAC West Athlete of the Week.
 
Kivi earned her latest award after helping The Rock to a 7-0 shutout of Atlantic Region counterpart West Chester University.
 
Playing in her first match in a month, Kivi helped spearhead the shutout against the Golden Rams by combining with partner Nicole Kempton to earn a 6-0 victory at No. 1 doubles followed by grabbing a 6-1, 6-0 win from the second singles flight.
 
The perfect outing against West Chester improved Kivi's singles record to 11-1 overall, while she and Kempton – which are currently ranked as the No. 34 doubles team in Division II – are now a healthy 10-7 in 2025-26.  
 
Slippery Rock will bring a 2-0 team record into its 11:30 a.m. Tuesday match against Texas A&M Kingsville at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
